About Promptu

Promptu is being actively developed by Zach Johnson, a computer science student at UCSD (University of California, San Diego). He was introduced to SlickRun (another application launcher) a while back and used it for a number of years. Wanting more features, he started developing his own application launcher, which later became Promptu.
